The artistic works and genres to which the motion picture refers, the actor's conditions and performance are considered – Holy Motors brings the latter to the point of absorption, leading to eternal rebirth. In the book, the never before published drafts for filming by Leos Carax are also restored. The director’s notes and the iconography collected by him are providing insights into the development and the overall concept of various characters played by Denis Lavant.
